Marketing Intern

Hands-on marketing internship at a fast-moving healthtech startup. Help run conferences, ship blog and LinkedIn content, support campaigns, and learn what modern AI-powered B2B marketing looks like from the inside.

ABOUT THE MARKETING INTERN ROLE AT GENHEALTH

This is a hands-on role. You'll get exposure to the full marketing stack at a fast-growing AI healthcare company and ship real work that goes live in front of customers, prospects, and the broader healthcare AI community.

Responsibilities

- Conference Support: Help plan and execute GenHealth's presence at industry conferences (Medtrade, AHIP, HLTH, and others) — booth logistics, pre-event outreach, on-site coordination, swag, and post-event follow-up
- Blog & Content: Draft, edit, and publish blog posts, case studies, and thought-leadership pieces — translating technical AI/healthcare concepts into clear, engaging writing
- LinkedIn & Social: Create posts, schedule content, manage engagement, and help grow our presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube
- Newsletter & Email: Support email campaigns through Mailchimp — drafting copy, building lists, scheduling sends, and tracking performance
- Marketing Collateral: Help build one-pagers, slide decks, flyers, and sales-enablement materials using Canva, Figma, and similar tools
- Campaign Execution: Assist with running outbound campaigns, landing pages, and lead-gen experiments
- Analytics: Pull metrics from Google Analytics, LinkedIn, and email tools to help us understand what's working
- Market & Competitive Research: Track healthcare AI trends and competitor activity to inform content and positioning
- AI-Native Marketing: Use Claude, ChatGPT, and other LLM tools to move faster on research, drafting, and content production

Requirements

- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Bachelor's or Master's degree — marketing, communications, business, English, journalism, or related field. Strong candidates from any major welcome
- Strong writing and editing skills — you can take a rough idea and turn it into something polished and on-brand
- Comfort with social platforms (LinkedIn especially) and an eye for what makes content engaging
- Organized and self-directed — you can juggle a few projects at once and follow through without constant check-ins
- Curiosity about healthcare, AI, and B2B startups
- Willingness to use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) as part of daily workflow
- Available to work in-person in Boston, or hybrid with regular Boston time

Nice to Have

- Prior marketing, communications, or content internship experience
- Familiarity with Mailchimp, Canva, Figma, or HubSpot
- Basic understanding of SEO, analytics, or paid ads
- Video editing or short-form content experience (YouTube, Reels, TikTok)
- Experience running or supporting events / conferences
- Interest in healthcare, life sciences, or health policy

Compensation

- Competitive hourly pay
- 10–12 week summer 2026 internship, full-time
- Work directly with founders and senior GTM leadership
- Real ownership and visibility into how a venture-backed AI startup runs
- Conference travel where it makes sense
- A clear path to a full-time offer for high performers
